31 days and counting

One month. One month without spending money on anything other than food and bills... I've gone more than 50 days without buying shoes. No shopping for non-essentials whatsoever. Who am I kidding, I'm even running out of shampoo, that's how strict I've been on myself! (I am treating myself to a hairdresser's appointment after work though)
When I think about the money I surely would have spent, my head spins a bit: £42, €65, £25, £40, £20, £65, £68... Even without shipping costs, that adds up to a grand total of £314 or €378. A big bite out of my monthly budget. No wonder I don't get around to putting any money in my savings account!
Not to mention the interesting sales going on (Amazon, Kandee, Kurt Geiger...), my current eBay quests and the other shoes I still have my eyes on (Sam Edelman, Iron Fist, Steve Madden, I'm looking at you), I surely would have scored some goodies there. And then we're still talking about shoes alone, while we do know about that other great weakness of mine (can someone say Karen Millen/Asos/Dorothy Perkins dresses?). Here goes February...

  1. Hah, me and you both. I'm avoiding the temptation on all fronts as they hit me. And then, Spring's seasonal trends are coming......

My golly, help me get through this...
