Expecting

It's the beginning of a new month, which means my Visa bill is back at zero. And we can't have that, now can we? Not when I have been lusting after shoes and counting the days until I can buy them. So that's what I rushed home to do. I can't wait until my packages arrive so I can show you the goods!
First up, the Jessica Simpsons I was talking about earlier this week. I was definitely having a hard time to choose between these plum ones or the pink Jeffrey Campbells. I ended up ordering these after all, since I think the dark plum will be more versatile (hello tights!) and easier to keep clean, and the T-bar is slightly narrower, which I hope will be more elegant on my feet. I had no other choice but to order them from the US, which makes them a lot more expensive (shipping + customs), so I hope they'll be worth it.
Next up, the infamous Senso Wilma boots in hot pink leopard. I'm still on the fence about these, but after talking with a couple of people (hello dear colleagues!) who all agreed that this boot screams my name, I decided to just go with my gut feeling. I ordered a size up, like they said, so I hope they'll fit perfectly and look as good as I expect them to.
I ordered these from Solestruck, again an American website, but I dodged the shipping costs. Shipping would have added up to 30 dollars. Then the website said that I would get free delivery if I spent another 39 dollars. Which I then did. My eye fell on this shoe by Carlos Santana (who knew he made women's shoes, so weird??!), which seems to be a pretty easy shoe for Summer shopping trips and the likes. Besides, I got rid of my only pair of gold shoes recently, so that worked out pretty perfect.

Of course, I wouldn't be me if I didn't go completely overboard, so I stopped by Amazon for some books to read on my daily trips on the train and Asos to profit from their 20% off on Asos items.
An evening well spent, I think. And now I'm not allowed to buy anything for the next month or so. Except for presents, of course. And maybe I can convince Santa to refund me the pink Wilmas. Cheeky, I am, oh yes.
