Shoe challenge #7: It was a ruby shoesday

With a regular day at the office and a dinner with friends on the agenda, I decided to go for a simple black dress. Of course I knew that that meant I could go all out with the shoes. This wrap dress has the cutest little bows on the back of the sleeves, which have a slightly puffy look to them. It fastens with a similar ribbon in the waist, but I decided to make it a bit more structured with a separate belt.

Since it was Tuesday, I opted for my new red peeptoes. I love the colour, which is a bright yet deep red. I love the fact that the platform runs along the whole shoe, which makes them a lot easier to walk in than I expected. Even if I did get the 'that girl is crazy' look from passers-by. Best part though? I got tons of wows, including from one person that noted that they looked expensive. Nothing better than a double compliment!
