Louboutin-esque Swagger

These. Are. Perfection. The shape is flawless, they're executed in suede (my favourite!) and they come in red, black and a striking zebra (pony hair). At £62 they're a very cheap alternative for Louboutin's Bibi, so it cannot be a surprise that I want all three of these. Realistically though, I have quite a few pairs of red and black shoes in my collection. Which would be a good excuse to add some zebra to my wardrobe.

I die.

Shoe challenge #67: Red checks and cheeks to match

By now you must have noticed my habit of always saving all my newest acquisitions, so here I go again: gingham wedges from Schuh. Sales baby! The original price tag on these (£70) was a bit hefty for my taste (or my bank account), but as soon as the sales started, I hopped on them. £40! Luckily I did, because I love them.
My feet however, do not like them as much as they did throughout the day. I snapped these pictures right after I rushed into the house, having run a bit to beat the storm, hence the red cheeks and the tossled coife. And the sore feet.

Still, what's a little pain for beauties like these? They go perfectly with this denim dress that I wear not nearly often enough. I adore my gingham wedges, and I adore the new home. Which leads us to this 'extra' picture. Because every good house needs cuddles from time to time...

Dress (1060 via 3Suisses), cardigan (Zara), watch (Kipling) and shoes (Schuh).

New shoes: red gingham

I've had a truly dreadful day today. I don't know what is wrong with me, but I've felt extremely tired and bad at ease the entire day. I even said no to sushi after work, because I really didn't feel like it. Now there's a sign something is wrong!
Luckily there was a little ray of sunshine to lighten up my bad mood: a package arrived! These gingham wedges had been calling my name since they came online, and they look stunning in real life. So so glad that I knew to order up, because the reviews (including one from Shoeperwoman) are right to call these extremely narrow in the toe. For a moment I was afraid they wouldn't fit, but once I wiggled my toes around a bit, it was fine. Enter sigh of relief. Now that would've totally ruined my day.
I am usually a 4 or a 4 1/2, but I normally order a size up anyway. Which is why I took a chance by ordering these in a 5. If you're jealous of me for just looking at this picture, you can get these in the Schuh sale as well. Btw, don't you just love how quickly Schuh deliver? (They should though, for the £8 shipping costs they make me pay)

Damn you sales!

I can't believe I never showed you these, even though they have been on my wishlist ever since they appeared on the Schuh website. But the time is now, as they've gone down from £70 to £40. And so it is that they are on their way to yours truly. I can imagine getting a lot of wear out of these this Summer. (I didn't buy a single thing while away in Vienna, so I thought I deserved a little treat...)
