Dressember - the 27th

I know, I know. Bad blogger. I missed five days of Dressember, but don't fret, I did not wear any trousers. Like I said before, I have no difficulties with this so-called challenge, since I generally don't wear a lot of trousers anyway. You didn't really miss my party outfits though, since I wore my purple velvet dress on Christmas eve (with these shoes) and this gold skirt to go out for drinks after the family festivities of Christmas day.
I've had this skirt for quite a while now (it was an Outnet purchase), but it still had the tags attached. I though about pairing it with a white blouse, but thought it would be too dressy, and decided to tone it down with a plain black turtleneck. On Sunday I wore a similar outfit with my new Sam Edelman Lornas. Double the metallics, double the party joy. My mum was actually quite jealous of them, she liked them a lot.
No shoes today though, since I'm staying indoors: I'm having some of my girlfriends over for dinner, yeay! And yes, I was fresh out of the shower. Again.
