Lively

In the spirit of showing you some shoes that are not 4 inch or higher, but still cute: these very pretty cork wedges. Combined with the small platform, I'd say these are a nice and summery midheel alternative for those of you that don't go wild over stilettos.

Personally I love the blue and yellow combo, and even if I can't get a really good look, I suspect that lattice detail on the toe is beautiful. Get them here for $80.

Kamilia

Sometimes all you need is a simple shoe, that you'll be able to wear for years to come. I love Bebe's summer take on the black pump, with the cork, the peep toe and the slingback. If you like them too, you're in luck, as these are currently marked down to £66 and available in blue and orange as well.

Flamante

If Louboutin were God, Rupert Sanderson would be a demi-god. The man is genius. These Flamante pumps are proof.

€625 worth of proof.

Perfect for a Saturday night, aren't they? Not that I'm wearing anything nearly as glamorous on my feet right now.

Smooch

Green has never been my colour, but that shouldn't mean it can't be yours! So I shouldn't neglect all those pretty green shoes out there, just because I'm not going to buy them myself. Case in point: these cute strappy sandals from Bamboo. I love the play with tone on tone, as well as the cork wedge, although those straps worry me. I would be scared that they'd start rubbing... If you want to take them for a test drive, you can buy them for only $33.

Bright canvas wedges

Just a light post to end the day on a summery note. I really like these canvas wedges from New Look. They also come in 'winter white', but to me it looks more like beige, which I really really hate. It would be hard for me to have to choose between these two colours though. Fairly certain I'd go for the aqua, they would look great with white skirts and dresses. At £20, I'm not sure I won't.
