This is how I like my summer shoes. Bright colours (gotta love yellow, right?), a walkable heel and cute details. Take this little leather bow for instance:

Cute, right? I love the yellow with the raffia and the tan leather. I love how these are high enough to be elegant, but not towering or clumsy, and they actually look like you could walk in them all day and still go to that beach party at night. Green has never been my colour, but that shouldn't mean it can't be yours! So I shouldn't neglect all those pretty green shoes out there, just because I'm not going to buy them myself. Case in point: these cute strappy sandals from Bamboo. I love the play with tone on tone, as well as the cork wedge, although those straps worry me. I would be scared that they'd start rubbing...
