Weaver
The Summer of 2012 seems to call for (at least one) pair of raffia wedges, and I've shown you quite a few options these past few months. Then again, there are also those shoes that take a trend a few bridges too far. Like these Topshop ones, for instance. Overdose on raffia anyone?
The fact that they're pink doesn't help either, they just look so cheap! While they are anything but, because at £65 I consider these pretty overpriced. PS: the natural and the grey look equally aweful, so at least I can't blame the pink. (No worries pink, you're still my favourite colour!)

Front lawn fun
This is exactly what summer should look like: fresh, breezy, bright, elegant and with a bow on top. I also like the contrast stitching and the polka dotted sole.
And only $46! My fingers are already itching...

New Look haul
I think I even outdid myself with this one. Four pairs of shoes in one order! Luckily not one pair cost over £10. And the craziest part of all? Not one pair of heels! I'm totally ready for summer now, especially for daytrips with the boyfriend and festivals with my friends. I can't wait to take these babies out.
I've been thinking about getting a pair of Converse sneakers for a while though, but decided they were a bit expensive for a style that I wasn't sure I would get much wear out of. So when I saw these cheap knock-offs on the New Look website, I didn't hesitate. I would've loved a hot pink pair like the ballet flats, but I'm so glad I chose these turquoise ones. They give my legs an instant tan!!
Two weeks ago I ordered the strapless dress with the pink car print, but I decided against this white palm tree print dress. And then my size was sold out. So as soon as I saw my size pop up again (on sale!), I couldn't help but slip it in with my overload on shoes. I'm in love with the cutout in the back.

Kelly Brook
I don't know who or what Kelly Brook is, but apparently she thinks of cute shoes (and sexy bathing suits, apparently). These are spot on with the raffia wedge, and the nude patent makes them very versatile. The white trim specifically just rendered these shoe kryptonite for me.

Pinot
This is how I like my summer shoes. Bright colours (gotta love yellow, right?), a walkable heel and cute details. Take this little leather bow for instance:
Cute, right? I love the yellow with the raffia and the tan leather. I love how these are high enough to be elegant, but not towering or clumsy, and they actually look like you could walk in them all day and still go to that beach party at night. If you dream of beaches and cocktails like I do, they can be yours for a mere $33. (vacation needs to be booked separately)

Cool summer days
I know I don't focus on midheels nearly enough, so I thought I might show you this breath of fresh air. The raffia wedge should be quite comfortable, there's also an apricot and a nude version, and the closed shoe ensures that you can wear them even when it's not blazing hot outside. And when you live in a climate similar to that of Belgium, these would therefor get more wear than those summery sandals. These are New Look, which can mean only one thing: these would cost you no more than £18!

All-in-one
Polka dots and stripes and a cute bow on top. There can't be anything wrong with these, now can there? Moreover, the raffia platform is perfect for summer! These Babycham sandals will set you back a reasonable £50.
