Djaldos
At first glance I would've never guessed that these were Louboutin. Which they are. Which is one of the reasons why I love Louboutin so much as a designer. Even though he is most known for his elegant stiletto classics, he still knows how to surprise us from time to time as well. With a studded pointy ballerina shoe for example. Or this magnificent wedge.
First up, I really dig the structural shape of the wedge itself, with the narrowness of the heel that is almost like a stiletto, and the way it creates a little overhang under the ball of the foot. This wedge is edgy, and looks a even a little dangerous, in spite of the girly colour scheme.
Secondly, it's those colours that I love. The bright pink suede and the red metallic straps look like they shouldn't work together, but for some magical reason they do. If you want to be part of the magic, and I can't say that I blame you, you better hurry up, as these are only available in a couple of select sizes anymore.

Frame
These are amazing. €478-worth amazing, to be exact. I'm usually not a huge fan of Lanvin, but these frame-wedges I love!
What with the metallic uppers, the unusual shape, the rosette on the toe, the minimalism of the entire design... The only thing I could do without is that bulky ankle strap.
I even adore the pointy toe, it adds an element of surprise, I feel. Also, they are currently 60 % off at The Outnet (the original price being well over €1000) and there are still a couple of sizes left.

Radiant
A pink metallic sandal? I'm all over it! I love shiny stuff, especially if it's pink and high-heeled. And then I took a second look at the toe area. Which I really shouldn't have, because it sort of ruined this shoe for me.
I'm actually very curious to see these on a foot though, because I must admit I don't really know how such a minimal approach would look irl. So if you want to help me, go buy these for £45 at Topshop and then email me a photo as soon as you put them on!

A dash of cream
Not bad Dorothy Perkins, not bad at all. In fact, I'm rather fond of these. I think I like this cream version best, but just last week I preferred the coral, so there's no knowing what I'll love most tomorrow. What I do know though, is that I like the little touch of metallic in the bow, the intricate strapping and especially the texture of the print on the platform and the heel. I think especially the touch of blue adds a lot more depth that the coral version lacks.
You're completely free to choose your own favourite though, and you can do so here for the cream and here for the coral. Both will cost you £42.

Pretty! Me like! Me wants! These shoes have rendered me almost without words, but I found them here, and so can you.

Glitter and metallics are pretty hit-or-miss. They can look elegant and festive, or tacky and cheap. These Schuh courts definitely fit into the first category. They tick all the right boxes: beautiful curves, a heel you can walk/dance on (very important for party-appropriate footwear), and a bow on top to finish it off. Not just any bow either, but a triple bow! These are only £40 from Schuh, so perfect to inject some budget-friendly glamour into your weekend...

While I can certainly appreciate all the intricate details that went into designing these sandals, I'm not totally sure how I feel about them. They are very space-y and while I love to look at them, I can't exactly imagine them on a foot. I'm worried they may be too overwhelming, especially since the straps are so heavy in the ankle area.
I do like the mix of the pristine white and the blue-ish metallic snake, but their black and gold counterpart is a bit too Darth Vader for me. If you think you can carry them off though, you can get them at Topshop for £85.

Sparkle bow
I'm continuing the summery streak that I started last week, and I expect to continue on for quite a while longer as well. Basically that means that I'll be showing you sandals until you're sick of both them and sunshine.
The simplicity of these Next sandals appeals to me, especially since they're more intricate than you would expect at first glance. The shimmery bits aren't actually fabric, but chains and diamonds that are sewn on top of the beige fabric. It's a pity they didn't cover the entire shoe, I would've preferred that to the combination with the tan leather in the back. For sandals these aren't cheap, but not expensive either: £50. Buy them at Next.

Leopard, but not in the good way
There's a lot of things that can be said about these shoes, but they sure are interesting aren't they? Don't get me wrong, I don't like them and I'm definitely nominating them for ugly shoes of the week, but at least you can accuse Irregular Choice of not being creative. Because yes, of course these are Irregular Choice, w hat else? At least they have ideas.
To get the full effect of these, you have see them on though.
See? Interesting. With the edgy shapes and the OTT uppers, these are certainly not for me. But if they fit your aesthetic, you can find them here. At £119 they don't come cheap though. Don't say you weren't warned.
